Today, March 7, BLOOMSCHEME INC. (Head office: Shibuya-ku; Representative Director: Yushi Nakazato) released a trial version of Kimakuri, a 3D try-on service that makes full use of artificial intelligence and 3D scanning technologies.

By uploading a single photo of their face from a smartphone and entering their body shape, users can create a 3D avatar that closely resembles themselves. By dressing that avatar, they can try on clothes anytime, anywhere, at one second per item (*1). Apparel businesses, in turn, can promote sales by sending users outfit suggestions that show their own products on the users’ avatars.

The trial version allows users to create a female avatar and try on three outfits. Through the release of the trial version, we are seeking partner businesses for a proof of concept.

(*1) This figure was obtained in our proof-of-concept testing. Depending on the network environment, displaying the try-on result may take two seconds or longer.
