Turning real-world objects into 3D models with 3D scanning
3D scanning is a good solution for capturing real-world objects as 3D models accurately and quickly. However, 3D scanning technology is still developing; it is not like in the movies, where you hold up a device and the scan is complete in an instant. 3D scanning requires the object to be captured from all directions, that is, from every angle: above, below, left and right. Capturing a large object requires large-scale equipment and thorough preparation, regardless of the technical method used (infrared or photogrammetry).
Best practices, provided as tools and methodologies
We provide the 3D scanning best practices we have cultivated through client work and the development of our own services in the form of tools and methodologies, publishing them or offering them as services as appropriate.
